The Franklin Magnet Film Festival was started in 2015 and is made possible by a grant from the Benjamin Franklin Elementary Foundation, parent volunteers, and most importantly the wonderful and creative student filmmakers!
The goal of the Franklin Magnet International Student Film Festival is to provide our students with a cinematic platform for their creativity. The festival will give them a dynamic opportunity to express themselves in a fun and entertaining way, all the while learning about the film making process.
In addition, the festival also raises funds for the Benjamin Franklin Elementary Foundation which supports teachers and staff with classroom assistance and supplies, integrates the humanities, arts and sciences into the school day and beyond, and improves the campus environment at Franklin Magnet in an ecologically responsible way.
We look for the support of our community members, as well as our friends in the entertainment industry, to help us achieve our goal and to bring Hollywood home to Glendale!
